News from Science Director (0400UTC June 25, 2008) The field observation of SoWMEX/TiMREX will be terminated on 12Z June 26, 2008 after the discussion on Science Meeting of June 25. Since there are many scientists are not available to attend the Science Team Meeting on the morning of June 27, we have decided that the Science Team Meeting will be postponed and the date for it will be decided after a survey. However, on the morning of June 27, a program wrap-up meeting will be still conducted. The purpose of this meeting is to summarize the SOP/EOP/IOP operation of SoWMEX/TiMREX. The agenda for this program wrap-up meeting is as follow: Date: 01UTC June 27, 2008. The meeting will last only 1 hour. 1. Ben Jou and WC Lee: Program review (20 minutes) 2. Paul Chiou/Kathy Lin: Operation summary and forecast (20 minutes) 3. Open discussion and future activity (20 minutes)
